As the holy occasion of Eid al-Adha approaches, the Municipality of Dibba Al Hisn is preparing to welcome the festivities with a comprehensive operational plan designed to provide excellent services for residents and visitors alike. This initiative prioritizes public health and safety while creating a celebratory atmosphere in various vital facilities and areas throughout the city.
Enhanced Slaughterhouse Services
The Municipality of Dibba Al Hisn has completed preparations for the municipal slaughterhouse, increasing its capacity to handle sacrifices according to the highest health and veterinary standards. Operations will be closely supervised by veterinarians and specialists to ensure that the slaughtering process is safe and compliant throughout the Eid days.
Field Inspection Campaigns
To further enhance public safety, the municipality has intensified its field efforts by implementing extensive inspection campaigns in markets, food establishments, health facilities, hair salons, and beauty centers. These measures ensure strict adherence to approved health requirements. Additionally, teams are monitoring the readiness of beaches and public parks to welcome visitors during the holiday.
Operational Hours and Public Safety
The municipal slaughterhouse will be open for inspections on the Day of Arafah and during Eid from 6 AM to 6 PM. Meanwhile, the fruit and vegetable markets, meat and poultry shops, and fish market will operate daily until 11 PM to meet the needs of residents and shoppers. The municipality has issued warnings against dealing with unlicensed butchers, emphasizing the importance of conducting slaughtering within the accredited slaughterhouse to ensure that sacrifices undergo the necessary health checks and are safe for consumption.

In addition to these services, the municipality has completed preparations for the Eid prayer area, offering various technical and engineering services to ensure a comfortable and organized environment for worshippers during the Eid al-Adha prayers. The streets and squares of Dibba Al Hisn have transformed into a festive spectacle with decorative lighting and congratulatory messages that reflect the joy of Eid and spread happiness among residents and visitors.
Talib Abdullah Al Yahyai, the Director of the Municipality of Dibba Al Hisn, stated, “The municipality’s departments have harnessed all their resources and finalized their operational and service plans for Eid al-Adha, ensuring the provision of comprehensive services within a safe and comfortable environment for both residents and visitors.” He emphasized that working teams are diligently focusing on maintaining service quality and enhancing health and safety levels throughout the Eid celebrations.
