Dhiyab bin Mohammed Honors Winners of the UAE Award for Excellence in the Labor Market

In a distinguished celebration aimed at honoring excellence in the workplace, the achievements of the winners of the UAE Award for Excellence in the Labor Market were recognized. This award, considered the first of its kind in the country, highlights leading practices in the private sector and contributes to enhancing the UAE’s status as a global destination for work and investment. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the winners were honored by His Highness Sheikh Dhiyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Martyrs’ Families, who demonstrated a strong commitment to encouraging innovation and excellence in the labor market during the event.

Details of the Ceremony and Honoring the Winners

The ceremony took place at the Adnec Center in Abu Dhabi, where 100 winners were honored out of 18,000 applications received for the award. The winners were selected based on the results of evaluations conducted by specialized committees and according to precise and transparent governance criteria. These criteria include employment and empowerment, occupational health and safety, creativity and innovation, as well as talent attraction and social responsibility. Notably, the award comprises five categories, reflecting the diversity of achievements across various aspects of the labor market.

In his speech during the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his ongoing support of the award. He described His Highness’s sponsorship as a key motivator for the positive outcomes achieved by the award in its previous editions, contributing to the efforts to strengthen the UAE’s position as a preferred global destination.
