Cristiano Ronaldo Acquires Luxury Villas on Saudi Arabias Red Sea

In a significant move that highlights the growing allure of Saudi Arabia’s coastal paradise, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired two ultra-luxury villas at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence. This acquisition deepens his ties to the Red Sea‘s emerging luxury enclave, a destination known for its stunning natural beauty and bespoke services.

The villas, which Ronaldo purchased with partner Georgina Rodríguez, are part of The Red Sea Residences portfolio developed by Red Sea Global. Nestled about 26 kilometers from the shore, Nujuma is accessible exclusively by chartered boat or seaplane, ensuring its reputation as one of the most secluded luxury havens worldwide.

With just 19 private villas sitting on pristine white sands and surrounded by crystalline waters, Nujuma merges high-end design with personalized service within an untouched natural setting. This development strives not only for luxury but also for a pioneering approach to regenerative tourism, focused on having a net positive impact on local ecosystems.

A New Coastal Home for Ronaldo

“The Red Sea is a truly remarkable place,” Ronaldo expressed. “From the moment we first visited, Georgina and I felt a connection with the island and its natural beauty – it’s a place where we feel at peace. Now that we have a home here, we can enjoy quality time with family in complete privacy and serenity any time we like.”

The couple has acquired two distinct villas: a spacious three-bedroom residence perfect for family gatherings and a cozy two-bedroom villa ideal for private getaways. They were among the first individuals to invest in this exclusive development, choosing Nujuma for its tranquility and natural allure, and are reportedly looking into additional property options within the Red Sea destination.

Welcoming the couple to the community, John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Cristiano and Georgina to The Red Sea Residences community. Their decision to own here reflects the destination’s appeal among those seeking adventure with privacy, luxury with nature. We look forward to helping them discover all that The Red Sea has to offer.”

Nujuma stands out as one of only eight Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties across the globe, specifically designed for exceptional and remote locations. This development is part of The Red Sea, a key initiative under Vision 2030, which is committed to being powered entirely by renewable energy while aiming for a 30 percent net conservation benefit for local ecosystems by 2040.

The Red Sea destination currently boasts 10 luxury hotels, with Shura Island serving as its central hub for phased openings of resorts, dining, retail, and cultural experiences. The Red Sea International Airport links this secluded retreat to major cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Doha, and Milan, making it accessible while still preserving its unique sense of isolation.
