During a Ramadan Iftar held in honor of the closing of the eighth edition of the Arab Women’s Clubs Sports Games, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized the importance of investing in the future of women’s sports in the Arab region. His remarks highlighted that the success of this edition reflects a concerted effort among partners, sponsors, federations, clubs, and teams to create an environment conducive to excellence in sports.

Sheikh Khalid expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah, for his unwavering support for sports, culture, and development in the emirate. He also acknowledged Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, president of the Sharjah Foundation for Family & Community, for her commitment to empowering women in various fields, especially in sports, and her generous patronage of the event from its inception to its conclusion.
He stated, “This edition has confirmed that investing in Arab women’s sports is an investment in the future of sports as a whole in the Arab world.” He noted that the achievements made during the games represent a significant leap forward in the development of sports systems and the promotion of fair competition among Arab clubs.

Hanane Al Mahmood, vice president of the organizing committee, shared her sentiments on the successful conclusion of the eighth edition.
