In a significant development, the Bridge Alliance has postponed the 2027 summit to end November and early December 2027, shifting it from its originally scheduled date in November 2026. This decision was ratified during the fourth meeting of the Board of Directors, led by its chairman, Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Batti Al Hamed, and was made in collaboration with Miral, renowned for creating immersive experiences in Abu Dhabi. Alongside this shift, the summit will now take place annually, broadening its scope of programmes and partnerships.

Global Impact and Future Directions
The decision to host the summit on Yas Island reflects its potential to provide a well-integrated environment for the entertainment industry and events, equipped with advanced infrastructure to enhance participant experiences. The extended five-day summit will afford ample opportunities for specialised programmes, meetings, and dialogues, facilitating partnership formation across various stakeholders.
Cultivating a Quality Culture
Al Hamed stated that the UAE has established a developmental model that integrates quality and innovation as a work culture, with long-term tactics guiding the making of distinction. This philosophy underpins the ongoing evolution of Bridge, aimed at further sustainability. In line with our visionary leadership, true leadership transcends preserving achievements; it lies in reimagining success and extending its reach for greater impact, ensuring lasting accomplishments resonate meaningfully both regionally and globally.
A Comprehensive Ecosystem
The inaugural summit demonstrated its capacity to unify decision-makers, media leaders, content creators, investors, and innovators from across the globe, transforming diversity into a solid ecosystem for dialogue, cooperation, and opportunity creation. It successfully laid the groundwork for strategic partnerships and impactful agreements, unlocking new avenues for cross-border investment and collaboration. Based on widespread international participation and accelerated professional and economic impact, the summit aims to be a global reference point in shaping the future of media and creative industries. The focus now shifts to enhancing this success through a more developed and sustainable model based on an integrated ecosystem of partnerships, opportunities, and knowledge.
General views from the previous session
Looking ahead, Al Hamed affirmed that there will be intensive efforts to enhance all elements of the summit, from its content and programmes to international partnerships and specialised pathways, ensuring an exceptional experience aligns with Bridge’s ambitions. He reiterated that the alliance considers this phase as an investment in the future.
He concluded by emphasising that the UAE, with its visionary outlook and advanced infrastructure, will continue to be a pivotal meeting point for global minds, ideas, and investments.
