BrewDog plans to open a total of eight pubs in Dubai by 2030, and this ‘industrial chic’ establishment serves as their impressive first foray into the Middle East. Nestled in a prime location along the promenade beneath Ain Dubai, BrewDog boasts a striking blue neon sign and offers patrons exceptional views from its terraces across two spacious floors.

During our visit on a Wednesday evening, we were welcomed by a vibrant musical duo performing captivating covers of popular songs on the violin and guitar. We recommend exploring the more intimate upstairs bar, which provides a darker and quieter atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. As the night unfolds, be sure to check out the augmented reality dartboards for a unique twist.

Sink into one of the plush Chesterfield booths and browse the Daily Draft menu, featuring 11 enticing brews with tasting notes highlighting flavors like milkshake, hazy, and mango. Pricing starts at Dhs50 for 500ml of BrewDog’s crisp Lost Lager and goes up to Dhs63 for the 330ml of their famous Elvis Juice, a grapefruit-forward IPA known for its bold taste.

At BrewDog, there’s no need for formality; service is quick and friendly, focusing on delivering quality craft beer to eager guests. For an all-encompassing experience, consider ordering a flight of four beers for Dhs125; served in elegantly stemmed glasses, each pour measures a third of a pint. This option, while not the most economical, allows for a flavorful exploration of BrewDog’s diverse offerings. As for food, we sampled a delectable quintet of chicken wings priced at Dhs55 and the creatively named pizza, The Big Pastrami One, priced at Dhs95, both pairing beautifully with a pint of the spiky, tropical Punk IPA.

Following in the footsteps of other popular craft beer venues like Tap House and Goose Island, BrewDog emphasizes the city’s growing appreciation for diverse craft beer options, stepping away from the familiar mainstream choices. If BrewDog continues on this path, its founders will undoubtedly continue to see financial success in Dubai.
