The Dhid Cultural and Sports Club recently honoured the winners and participants of its basketball championship, which was held as part of the Sharjah Week activities. This event was under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Summer Programme, “Our Holiday is Different 2026”, and it showcased intense competition and a vibrant atmosphere among the teams and players involved.

During the award ceremony, His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Hwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Dhid Cultural and Sports Club Board, along with Mr. Mahir Obaid Al Khayal Al Tani, the club’s Executive Director, presented the trophies to the top two teams. In addition, special recognition was given to emerging talents in basketball, acknowledging their impressive performance and skill during the tournament.
