Broadbeach area in Gold Coast, Australia
Summary
Arada launches twin towers in Gold Coast with an investment of 5 billion dirhams, comprising 952 units scheduled for completion before the 2032 Olympics, as part of an eight-project portfolio across Australia.
Gold Coast towers mark Arada’s first project outside New South Wales.
The developer aims to deliver 1,000 residential units before the 2032 Olympic Games. This marks the company’s expansion into several cities across Australia.
Keen to establish a presence in Queensland, the Dubai-based developer plans to build the two residential towers following the acquisition of a prime development site. The construction will be undertaken by Roberts, a first-tier contractor affiliated with Arada, reflecting the group’s integrated approach to development and execution.
Completion Timeline
Arada aims to complete the project ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, a move expected to enhance demand for high-quality residential properties in South East Queensland over the coming years. The project plan, designed by Plus Architecture, includes a total of 952 residential units ranging from one to three-bedroom apartments, interconnected by a coordinated podium level. Residents will have access to a range of health and leisure amenities, including a swim-friendly lagoon, a training pool, a gym, a sauna, a steam room, an infrared relaxation room, and salt therapy facilities, alongside shared terraces, private dining areas, a library, a reception area, remote workspaces, and approximately 1,200 square meters of retail and hospitality space on the ground floor.
Strategic Location
Broadbeach is one of the key strategic development opportunities in Gold Coast, located directly across from the city’s convention centre. It benefits from proximity to beach facilities, restaurants, cafes, retail shops, recreational amenities, and transport connections. The site enjoys direct access to the light rail, and is within walking distance of The Star Gold Coast complex and the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, CEO of Arada, stated, “Broadbeach is a global address that gives us a competitive edge to create a unique community with an exceptional lifestyle that enriches the experience of everyone living there.” He added, “This is our first development project outside New South Wales, reflecting our growing ambition to expand into major urban markets across the country. Delivering this project through Roberts, our dedicated construction company, means we control the elements of quality, speed, and accountability that buyers expect in our integrated projects.”
Confidence in the Market
The announcement underscores Arada’s confidence in the Gold Coast and South East Queensland markets, where the Gold Coast has become one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, driven by population growth supported by interstate migration and infrastructure investment, as well as the city’s appeal as a modern destination. With heightened investment in the upcoming 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Arada perceives an opportunity to execute an innovative residential project in line with the city’s evolution into a global destination.
5,000 Homes
The Broadbeach project aims to solidify Arada’s presence in Australia; since entering the market in 2024, the group has launched a portfolio of eight projects with a total of over 5,000 homes across the nation. In 2025, Arada acquired Roberts, a trusted first-tier contracting firm. Arada’s presence in Australia extends beyond residential development; the group has also invested in the Brookie Pie House brand, one of the fastest-growing confectionery names in Australia, while securing the master franchise agreement for the Australian Boost brand, which has begun expanding its presence in the UAE. Globally, Arada manages projects valued at over 130 billion dirhams, encompassing more than 55,000 residential units across the UAE, the UK, and Australia.
