As part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts of the UAE to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, “Al-Faris Al-Shaham 3” welcomed a delegation from the Emirates Red Crescent during a field visit to the UAE humanitarian aid logistics center in Egypt, where the delegation was briefed on the mechanisms of work and the process of receiving and preparing relief shipments for entry into the Gaza Strip.
The “Al-Faris Al-Shaham 3” operation received a delegation from the Emirates Red Crescent, headed by Secretary-General Ahmed Sari Al-Mazrouei, during a visit to the UAE humanitarian aid logistics center in Al-Arish, Egypt.
This visit followed the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region and the head of the Emirates Red Crescent, regarding the allocation of 36.7 million dirhams to support humanitarian and relief efforts related to the “Al-Faris Al-Shaham 3” operation, enhancing the continuous flow of UAE aid to Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
During the tour, the delegation was informed about the details of work within the center, starting from receiving, sorting, and classifying the aid, through the supply system and approved logistical procedures, to the mechanisms that ensure the efficient and swift delivery of aid to those in need. They also received explanations about the efforts of the working teams and the coordination with relevant authorities to facilitate the movement of shipments and overcome any operational obstacles.
