The Ajman Chamber of Commerce is set to launch the ‘Thara’ initiative, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and investment, on 29 October 2026. This announcement will be made during the inaugural ‘Thara Connect’ forum, taking place at the Thara Centre for Entrepreneurship in Ajman. The event is backed by Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and will also see the presence of Sheikh Ammar bin Hamid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Head of the Executive Council.
Building a Supportive Ecosystem for Entrepreneurs
‘Thara’ aims to create a comprehensive environment that supports entrepreneurs and startups at various growth stages, enhancing investment opportunities and developing partnerships between emerging businesses and investors. The forum will gather a selection of investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts in the fields of investment and innovation from both within the UAE and beyond, providing a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and exploring cooperative opportunities.

Eng. Abdullah Mohammed Al Muwaij’i, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber, stated that the launch of the ‘Thara’ initiative aligns with the directives of the wise leadership in building a competitive and diverse economy, where entrepreneurs and startups are key drivers of growth. Meanwhile, Mariam Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Chairwoman of the ‘Thara’ Investment and Entrepreneurship Initiative, emphasised that this initiative signifies a qualitative leap in Ajman’s approach to the new economy by developing an all-encompassing environment to support entrepreneurs in all phases of their ventures.

The ‘Thara Connect’ forum is expected to feature a series of panel discussions, specialised meetings, and an accompanying exhibition for startups.
