As part of its efforts to enhance community awareness regarding how to handle emergencies and crises, the Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Center in Abu Dhabi has launched its new campaign, “Our Community is Ready.” This initiative, implemented in collaboration with various government entities, aims to educate community members on the correct procedures to follow during emergencies, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s commitment to improving crisis response and enhancing public safety.
Preventive Measures to Face Challenges
The “Our Community is Ready” campaign focuses on raising awareness about the appropriate procedures for dealing with emergency incidents. It emphasizes how to act upon receiving alert messages and provides guidance on handling debris or potential hazards. Through this initiative, the center hopes to promote preventive behaviors and adherence to instructions issued by relevant authorities to maintain public safety within the community.
Awareness and Combating Misinformation
The campaign also educates community members about the risks of photographing accident sites and circulating inaccurate information during crises. It highlights the importance of relying on official sources to mitigate the negative impacts that may arise from the spread of rumors. Comprehensive and Multilingual Awareness Programs
