In a significant move to enhance road safety and facilitate service delivery for government employees, the Abu Dhabi Police has introduced traffic point services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This initiative aims to streamline processes such as point reduction and license retrieval, significantly improving the experience for those working at the ministry. By offering these services directly on-site, Abu Dhabi Police emphasizes its commitment to public safety and efficient service provision.
As part of its ongoing efforts, the Traffic Points Programs Department in the Police Follow-Up and Aftercare Administration has presented a comprehensive package of field services for employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the ministry’s headquarters. This initiative aims to facilitate the completion of their transactions and enhance their awareness of traffic safety. The program includes services for point reduction and license retrieval, alongside a series of awareness workshops focusing on safe driving behavior and the importance of adhering to traffic laws.
Brigadier Mahmoud Yusuf Al Bloushi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, plays a prominent role in directing this initiative. He emphasized that collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reflects Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with government entities. Al Bloushi believes that providing traffic point services without the need to visit service centers demonstrates Abu Dhabi Police’s dedication to continuously improving the customer experience, making it easier for them to complete their transactions.
The awareness workshops focus on enhancing employees’ understanding of road dangers and safe driving behaviors. Practical exercises presented during these workshops highlight the importance of adhering to traffic laws and their role in reducing accidents and injuries. Brigadier Al Bloushi stated that these efforts contribute to promoting a culture of road safety as part of the police’s strategic priorities.
These services also aim to develop employees’ traffic skills and knowledge, leading to better driving behavior on the roads. The initiative exemplifies how innovation in public services can ensure community safety, with Abu Dhabi Police actively contributing to its commitment to support the UAE leadership’s vision of enhancing road safety standards.
