This initiative emphasizes the importance of preparedness in the face of potential threats and is set to implement mandatory registration in all residential homes across Abu Dhabi. Launch of the “حصّنتك” Initiative
In a press conference held today, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority announced the rollout of the “حصّنتك للمنازل” campaign under the slogan, “Make the response faster than the danger.” This initiative is launched in collaboration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, and the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation. The strategy is aimed at enhancing the readiness of homes and expediting emergency responses, directly contributing to the protection of lives and the minimization of losses.
Key Features of the “حصّنتك” System
The press conference included a comprehensive overview of the initiative, featuring the official launch of the “حصّنتك أبوظبي” platform, which allows citizens and residents to register directly. It emphasized the integration of the system with new building permit requirements and clarified the penalties and regulations associated with non-compliance. According to Eng. Hassan Ali Al Khatari, project manager of “حصّنتك,” the initiative reflects the strategic vision of the Abu Dhabi government aimed at transitioning from mere response to proactive prevention.

Eng. Qasim Al Hashimi, Executive Director of Beneficiary Affairs at Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, highlighted that the partnership with Abu Dhabi Civil Defense exemplifies an effective model of governmental integration aimed at enhancing community safety and welfare. The authority is expanding its programs to include preventive measures, supporting the implementation of the “حصّنتك” early warning system in the homes of beneficiary families. Engineer Hussein Al-Harithi, Acting Director of Construction Regulation at the Department of Municipalities and Transport, stated that the “حصّنتك” system marks a qualitative leap in enhancing safety and preventive standards within the framework of building regulations in the emirate. He emphasized that the department aims to incorporate the system’s requirements into the planning and construction stages of residential buildings, ensuring proactive adherence to safety regulations from the outset of construction. This collaboration aligns with the Abu Dhabi government’s directives to build safer, more sustainable cities while embedding a safety culture into integrated urban planning.

Abdullah Ibrahim Al Ahmad, CEO of the Government and VIP Sector at “إي آند الإمارات,” expressed pride in supporting the “حصّنتك للمنازل” initiative by leveraging technological solutions and digital platforms to provide an effective early warning system.
