He demonstrated immense strength and determination during the race, surging across the finish line and embodying the significant effort he put in to achieve this title. Following this win, Narvaez is now just one second behind the overall leader, who is currently Yrenscold.
In the Rienuy Tour, Belgian rider Tim Wellens delivered an outstanding performance for UAE Team Emirates. Wellens finished the crucial stage in third place after fierce competition on the ascent of the famous Mount Van Gerardspiergen. This remarkable performance allowed him to climb to third place in the overall standings before the final two stages, after narrowly missing victory in the third stage to Dutchman Matteo van der Poel from the Alpecin-Deceuninck team, while Arnaud De Lie from Lotto took second place.
