The project will involve the construction of bridges and tunnels totaling 1,700 meters, in addition to increasing the number of lanes from three to four in each direction. This expansion will enhance the street’s capacity by 33%, raising the ability from 6,600 vehicles per hour to 8,800 vehicles.

The Future Street development project will serve a wide range of commercial and residential areas, including the Dubai World Trade Center and the Dubai International Financial Center. These locations host global exhibitions and conferences, enhancing Dubai’s status as a global business hub. The number of beneficiaries from the project is estimated to be around half a million residents and visitors, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life in the city.
Environmental and Aesthetic Aspects
The project will not be limited to infrastructure alone; it will also incorporate aesthetic and creative elements. By creating bike lanes and pedestrian paths, the Authority aims to ensure the safety and ease of movement for all citizens and visitors. As part of efforts to enhance environmental aspects, urban spaces will be developed, contributing to the creation of vibrant environments that foster community interaction.
