The Ministry of Education has announced a series of summer programs and camps starting from June 30 to August 15. The initiative showcases 29 programs and camps organized in collaboration with 20 national entities, hosted across 80 centers. These activities cover various fields, including sports, culture, science, personal skills, technology, and artificial intelligence.

Additionally, the ministry is launching the “National Ambassadors – Preparedness” summer program from July 14 to July 25, in collaboration with leading universities in the UAE. This initiative aims to enhance both student and teacher skills during the summer break, enabling them academically and professionally. The program emphasizes three key tracks: scientific research, enrichment, and innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing on developing critical thinking, scientific knowledge, and innovative business skills.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge has provided various summer programs in partnership with top-tier organizations, along with selected initiatives from leading institutions in their fields. These programs span seven primary areas, including arts, sports, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and future skills. The most recent version of the school holiday activities program allows students to engage in enriching and enjoyable experiences that enhance their knowledge and skills.
A Focus on Inclusivity and Quality
Furthermore, the program is designed to offer innovative educational experiences, including tailored support for students with special needs. It emphasizes interactive and practical applications outside traditional classroom environments, collaborating with prominent partners based on feedback from parents in previous program iterations. Dr. Bashayer Al-Matrooshi, Executive Director of the Talent Empowerment Sector at the Abu Dhabi Department, stated, “The school holiday programs reflect our commitment to nurturing and developing students on physical, psychological, and intellectual levels. We ensure the quality, effectiveness, and accessibility of these programs to instill a lifelong love of learning.”
Abu Dhabi Sports Summer Camp
The Abu Dhabi Sports Council and ADNEC Group have organized the Abu Dhabi Sports Summer Camp for children, which will run until August 20 at the ADNEC center. This camp provides interactive activities and games, promoting healthy lifestyles among children aged four to 16 years. The program is designed to build confidence, stimulate creativity, and enhance teamwork skills, supplemented with creative activities such as drama and storytelling.
