This week marks the launch of the Dubai Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2027, a leading event in the regional fashion calendar, taking place in the vibrant Dubai Design District. Over five days, the event will showcase an extensive range of the latest fashion trends alongside exclusive runway shows.
An Inclusive Platform for Emerging Talent
Dubai Fashion Week, organised by the Dubai Design District, a global creative hub under the TECOM Group, in collaboration with the Arab Fashion Council, will run until 26th October. It aims to attract emerging talent from the design world as well as prominent designers from both the region and globally.
Diverse Representation from Global Markets
This season, Dubai Fashion Week expands its horizons by welcoming a rich mix of designers and fashion labels from across the United Arab Emirates and the broader region. Notably, it also features brands from international markets, including Colombia, France, India, Ukraine, South Korea, and Vietnam, adding a global dimension and innovative perspectives to the local fashion landscape.
Highlighting New Talent and Collaborations
Kuwaiti designer Youssef Al-Jasmi is making his debut at Dubai Fashion Week, opening the Spring/Summer 2027 season with a promising line-up of fashion shows and selected events that will unfold over five days. The first night’s showcase includes Emirati designer Sarah Badran, Indian designer Palavi Puri, and high-fashion Indian designer Krisha Bajaj, who is collaborating with luxury jewellery brand Alok Lodha Jewels to unveil her collection this season.
Opportunities for Designers and Retailers
In conjunction with the Spring/Summer 2027 season, the buying programme returns, providing designers with opportunities to connect with a vast network of regional retailers. This initiative supports their growth and expansion goals into new markets.
Collaborative Events and Strategic Partnerships
Dubai Fashion Week also includes a variety of special meetings and collaboration opportunities, featuring a pop-up space within Harvey Nichols to showcase a selected range of regional fashion brands for a month.
