Dubai T100 Triathlon Makes a Thrilling Comeback This November

As the temperatures in Dubai begin to drop, the emirate is embracing its annual fitness season. The Dubai Fitness Challenge and complimentary boxing classes in Zabeel are just the beginning, as the eagerly anticipated Dubai T100 Triathlon is set to make its return from November 13 to 15. This weekend-long endurance event is part of the global T100 Triathlon World Tour and is supported by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO). With nearly 2,000 athletes from 57 nationalities already signed up, excitement for the challenge is palpable, with over a third of participants eager to return after the inaugural season’s success.

What to Expect at the Dubai T100 Triathlon

This year marks the third edition of the Dubai T100 Triathlon, which promises a scenic route encompassing both tranquil waters and lush parkland. Participants will compete in the traditional triathlon format, comprising three key segments:

  • Swim: The competition begins with a swim at Al Mamzar Beach.
  • Bike: Next, athletes will ride their bikes through Al Hamriya Port and the stunning Dubai Islands.
  • Run: The final segment includes a run along the shaded pathways of Al Mamzar Park and the corniche footpath before crossing the finish line.

Categories for All Skill Levels

The Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend caters to a diverse range of participants with three distinct race categories:

  • Sprint: 750-metre swim, 20-kilometre bike ride, and a 5-kilometre run.
  • Olympic: 1.5-kilometre swim, 40-kilometre bike ride, and a 10-kilometre run—this is the newest addition to the event.
  • T100 Race: The signature event covering a grueling total of 100 kilometres, including a 2-kilometre swim, an 80-kilometre bike ride, and an 18-kilometre run.

For those who prefer to watch rather than participate, the Dubai T100 Triathlon promises to be an exciting spectacle. Last year’s event attracted nearly 8,000 amateur competitors, along with over 15,000 spectators keen to witness the endurance challenge unfold.

Prepare for the 2026 Edition

The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), along with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council, has announced Al Mamzar as the new venue for the 2026 Dubai T100 Triathlon, which will continue the event’s legacy as a key stop on the nine-race T100 Race to Qatar.
