University of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) and the Supreme Legislative Committee of Dubai have formalised a strategic partnership with the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at fostering institutional and legal collaboration. This agreement is designed to support the development of legal and legislative work, enhance knowledge management, and prepare national competencies to adapt to rapid transformations and future requirements within the sector.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, President of HBMSU, and Dr. Ahmed Saeed Bin Meshar Al Mehairi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Legislative Committee in Dubai, during an official ceremony held at the university’s premises. The event was attended by officials and representatives from both sides.
Framework for Collaborative Development
This memorandum provides a comprehensive institutional framework for developing mutual cooperation areas, including legislative process improvements, optimal application of legislation, conducting legal research and studies, sharing expertise and publications, as well as organising training programmes, conferences, seminars, workshops, and developmental projects of mutual interest.
