In a remarkable testament to its expanding academic influence, Zayed University has announced the enrolment of 3,790 new students for the academic year 2026-2027. This figure marks an impressive increase of over 32% compared to the previous academic year, highlighting the university’s ongoing growth and its crucial role in preparing a new generation of skilled professionals for the future job market in the United Arab Emirates.

This year’s new cohort comprises 2,358 students at the university’s Abu Dhabi campus and 1,432 students in Dubai, showcasing Zayed University’s significant presence within the higher education landscape in the UAE. As its student community expands, the university is increasingly focused on linking academic study with professional readiness, equipping students with the skills and experiences necessary to navigate the evolving job market shaped by technological advancements.
The incoming students will join seven faculties across the university, including the College of Arts and Creative Industries, the College of Business, the College of Communication and Media, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, the College of Natural and Health Sciences, and the College of Technological Innovation.

As part of its efforts to integrate new students and prepare them for university life, Zayed University hosted the “Ya Hala” event, an extensive introductory initiative held at both its Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses. This event aimed to familiarise students with the support services and resources available at the university, as well as to introduce them to first-year student ambassadors who will guide and support them throughout their initial academic year.
