In line with the directives from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Human Resources Department has successfully employed 1,524 citizens and children of citizens from January 5, 2026, until the end of July.
Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, the Head of the Sharjah Human Resources Department, stated, “Following the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, we have achieved the employment of 1,524 individuals, comprising 871 at central institutions and 653 in decentralised entities. This includes 831 males and 693 females.”
Al Zaabi further announced, “Starting tomorrow, we will begin to process job applications registered with the department to fulfil our 2026 employment plan, with the total number of jobs expected to increase to 3,000.”
