Quarter Century Launches Youth Cultural Exchange Program

Sharjah (WAM) — Two institutions under Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Leaders and Innovators, Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, are launching the Youth Cultural Exchange Programme, which in its second edition will host a youth delegation from Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication to foster the exchange of cultures and experiences among future generations as part of “Summer with Us 2026”. The knowledge-driven and developmental journey runs from 21 to 28 July.

Building future-ready youth leadership

The programme aims to develop young leaders with a strategic mindset, grounded in knowledge and learning, while equipping them with the skills needed to meet future challenges. It also seeks to strengthen the values of dialogue, mutual respect and acceptance of others, and to provide educational and interactive environments that help prepare generations marked by awareness, initiative and the ability to engage positively with different cultures.

The organisation of the programme’s second edition reflects its growing Arab presence as a leading platform for enhancing civilisational communication and building sustainable educational and cultural partnerships between younger generations in the two countries. It also builds on the success of the first edition, which offered distinctive experiences that helped broaden participants’ intellectual and cultural horizons.

Visits, activities and cultural discovery

The programme includes a series of meetings and interactive activities, in addition to field visits and exploratory tours of some of Sharjah’s most prominent cultural and tourist landmarks. These activities will give members of the Moroccan delegation the opportunity to learn about the prominent pioneering role of the specialised institutions and centres affiliated with the organisation, and to explore the leading experiences it offers in youth leadership development, science and technology, life skills, creative arts and the making of community initiatives.

A vision of engagement and exchange

The Youth Cultural Exchange Programme embodies the organisation’s vision of building and empowering aware and influential generations capable of opening up to different cultures and representing their countries honourably, contributing to a more sustainable future through real, inspiring experiences in environments that encourage creativity and innovation while supporting cultural diversity and civilisational interaction between generations.
