The new parking facility at Dubai Harbour will offer 845 spaces across nine floors, supporting smoother access to the destination and a more convenient visitor experience through digital payment solutions.
Salk, the exclusive operator of Dubai’s toll gates, and North Holding, the diversified investment company, have signed a memorandum of understanding to enable seamless parking payment at the latest multi-storey parking facility in Dubai Harbour, starting Monday. The move is part of a broader effort to make mobility and parking more efficient for residents and visitors alike.
The memorandum was signed by Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer of Salk, and Abdullah bin Hattab, Chief Executive Officer of North, in the presence of officials from both sides.
Under the agreement, Salk will provide seamless parking payment solutions at the new nine-storey facility in cooperation with Parkonic, allowing visitors to pay for parking digitally through their Salk accounts without the need for traditional payment methods. The arrangement is expected to streamline access, improve traffic flow, shorten travel times, and create a more connected and convenient experience for those using the facility.
The announcement comes as one of the largest modern parking structures at Dubai Harbour nears operation. The facility covers a total area of 31,487 square metres, includes rooftop parking, and provides 845 parking spaces. It is set to help meet rising demand in a destination that continues to expand and draw increasing numbers of visitors and residents, including those heading to nearby areas such as Dubai Marina, Marina Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai Media City, and Dubai Internet City.
Integrated mobility platform
Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer of Salk, said the partnership represents another step in the company’s transformation into an integrated mobility and digital payments platform. He said the company remains focused on expanding its services across key locations and strategic assets by offering smarter and smoother solutions that enhance the customer journey, while Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a leading global destination. He added that cooperation with North reflects a commitment to building a connected mobility ecosystem that improves operational efficiency and supports the emirate’s long-term sustainable growth.
Deploying modern solutions
Abdullah bin Hattab, Chief Executive Officer of North, said Dubai Harbour is one of the company’s most ambitious destinations and that the partnership extends its commitment to making it world-class in every respect, including access, parking, and movement throughout the site. By integrating Salk’s seamless payment solution into the new parking facility at Dubai Harbour, he said, the company is removing friction from the visitor journey in a tangible way. North, he added, chooses its partnerships carefully, and this collaboration brings together two organisations that share a firm belief that smart infrastructure defines major destinations.
Smart infrastructure
The partnership supports both sides’ efforts to advance smart mobility infrastructure by delivering a smoother and more efficient arrival and parking experience for Dubai Harbour visitors, while also improving operational performance at the new facility through integrated digital solutions and Parkonic parking-management services.
The memorandum also aligns with Salk’s strategy to expand its digital services beyond toll collection and strengthen the role of its electronic wallet across vital destinations, transport hubs, and smart parking facilities. At the same time, it supports North’s broader direction of developing advanced infrastructure and integrated experiences that raise service quality across its destinations, in line with Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s most intelligent, connected, and sustainable cities.
