The Emirate of Sharjah is preparing to host the new edition of the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition “Ikras 2027,” aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the real estate sector in the region. This edition, filled with ambitions and strategic directions, follows the success of previous editions that achieved sales exceeding five billion dirhams. The exhibition serves as a comprehensive platform for investors and developers to enhance partnership opportunities and open new horizons for investment in Sharjah’s real estate sector.
Early Preparations for an Exceptional Edition
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Head of the Organizing Committee for “Ikras,” confirmed that the committee has begun its diligent preparations for the upcoming edition in January. “We aim to present an exceptional edition that builds on the success of the previous version,” Al Owais said, highlighting the committee’s commitment to developing a comprehensive plan that includes expanding the exhibition to encompass more local, regional, and international stations.
Performance Boosts and Future Expansion
During a meeting of the higher organizing committee, Al Owais stated that the recent successes of “Ikras” have placed the exhibition at the forefront of specialized economic events. Transactions exceeding five billion dirhams have been recorded, with over 18,000 visitors and 120 exhibitors presenting more than 200 real estate projects. “This success reflects the growing confidence in the exhibition and confirms Sharjah’s position as a leading global destination for attracting investments,” Al Owais added.

Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, mentioned that the department is working to ensure the exhibition is ready to deliver an exceptional experience that meets expectations. He confirmed that preparations are based on the successes of the previous edition, with the committee focusing on providing content that aligns with the changing needs of the market. Additionally, efforts are being made to improve digital services and streamline procedures for visitors and participants.

Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Real Estate Sector Working Group, emphasized the need for effective cooperation among all partners to enhance the competitiveness of the real estate sector.
