In a significant move to enhance educational offerings in the UAE, Aldar Education has announced an investment of 385.8 million dirhams to develop the Cranleigh Abu Dhabi campus. This substantial investment aims to relocate the campus for middle and high school education to a new state-of-the-art facility on Saadiyat Island. Scheduled to open in the 2027-2028 academic year, the new campus will accommodate up to 2,178 students, further solidifying Cranleigh Abu Dhabi’s position in meeting the growing demand for British education.
Details of the New Campus
The transformed Cranleigh Abu Dhabi campus will be just a seven-minute drive from its current location, strategically situated next to the preschool building. This integration supports the geographical coherence of the Cranleigh educational system on Saadiyat Island. The new facility will boast specialized laboratories for biology, chemistry, and physics, equipped with cutting-edge artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies. These advancements will enable students to engage with complex concepts through realistic simulations, fostering a deeper understanding of abstract technical ideas.
Enhancing Educational Quality
Sahr Cooper, CEO of Aldar Education, expressed the vision behind this investment: “We have designed the new Cranleigh Abu Dhabi campus with the firm belief that the quality of the learning environment directly influences student performance. Every decision made—from specialized science labs and artificial intelligence classrooms to sports facilities and senior school councils—aims to broaden students’ academic, athletic, creative, and cultural horizons.”
Commitment to Future Generations
This investment in Cranleigh Abu Dhabi signifies a commitment to providing high-quality British education that aligns with global standards. With modern infrastructure and innovative teaching methodologies, Aldar Education aims to equip future generations with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in an increasingly complex world. The new campus represents not only a physical space for learning but a holistic environment where students can flourish across various dimensions of life.
