In a significant exchange of knowledge, a delegation from the sixth cohort of the Future Experts Program visited Dubai Police to learn about its pioneering experience in foresight and innovation. This initiative, organized by the Dubai Future Foundation, offers valuable insights into how forward-thinking strategies can redefine law enforcement and public safety. The meeting, hosted by Colonel Dr. Hamdan Al-Ghussein, Director of the Dubai Police Future Foresight Center, aimed to showcase the center’s vital role in shaping the future of policing.

Strategic Foresight and Innovative Practices
Colonel Al-Ghussein shared insights into the center’s strategic foresight room and the processes involved in producing reports that address future challenges. He highlighted that the center comprises a team of qualified professionals who are instrumental in developing advanced scientific curricula and organizing modern training courses. These efforts prepare trainees to face contemporary developments and current security challenges, significantly contributing to research in areas such as early warning systems and community awareness programs.
“Our work not only elevates police performance but also encourages innovative thinking and supports the achievement of creative developmental goals,” added Colonel Al-Ghussein. The integration of technology into police work signifies Dubai’s commitment to improving service delivery and public safety.
Colonel Dr. Hamdan Al-Ghussein reiterated the importance of such meetings, which are designed to harmonize efforts across different organizations in the country. “By unifying our initiatives, we can enhance community development and maximize our positive impact,” he concluded, underlining the collaborative spirit fostered through these valuable exchanges.
