Sharjah Charity Delivers 25000 Sacrifices to Support Families

In a commendable initiative reflecting community solidarity, the Sharjah Charity Association has successfully distributed 25,000 sacrificial goats this year, catering to the needs of approximately 250,000 individuals. This charitable effort underscores the Association’s commitment to fulfilling the spiritual duty of Qurbani while bringing joy and relief to both local and international beneficiaries.

Local Distribution Efforts

This year, the Sharjah Charity Association distributed 4,000 sacrifices within the UAE, utilizing its main headquarters in the city of Sharjah alongside branches in Al Batayih, Al Madam, Al Dhaid, Khor Fakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn. The meat was delivered directly to underprivileged families and individuals listed within the association’s records, ensuring an efficient and compassionate redistribution process. The methodical distribution aimed to guarantee that all recipients received their shares in a timely manner, fostering an atmosphere of gratitude and shared humanity.

International Outreach

Beyond the borders of the UAE, the Sharjah Charity Association undertook to deliver 21,000 sacrifices across 51 countries. This extensive outreach was facilitated through collaborative efforts with various concerned agencies, highlighting the association’s international commitment to providing relief in areas facing economic hardships. Such endeavors not only extend the spirit of giving beyond local frontiers but also promote a sense of global community and interconnectedness.

Impact on Community Welfare

Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Deputy Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, emphasized the significance of the Qurbani project, stating, “The sacrifice initiative represents one of the key seasonal programs that the association prioritizes due to its direct humanitarian impact on achieving community solidarity.” This project not only embodies charitable giving but also strengthens social bonds among community members, affirming the importance of compassion and support during significant religious observances.

The Sharjah Charity Association’s success in distributing 25,000 sacrifices demonstrates a profound commitment to humanitarian values, serving both the local population and those in need overseas. By connecting benefactors with those less fortunate, the Association cultivates a culture of empathy and generosity that resonates deeply within society.
