Airlines Resume Dubai Flights as Global Travel Rebounds

As air travel rebounds, three major carriers are set to resume their flights to Dubai, signaling a vibrant recovery in one of the region’s busiest aviation markets. With the UAE fully opening its skies and demand for travel on the rise, international airlines are reestablishing their operations, a clear indicator of the aviation sector’s revival. This article explores the resumption of services by Aeroflot, Air France, and KLM, starting from June 2026, marking a significant milestone in the recovery of air traffic.

As air travel recovers, Russian airline Aeroflot will resume its regular flights between Moscow and Dubai starting June 1, 2026. This decision comes after a previous suspension due to airspace closures in several countries in the region. The airline has opened bookings on its website and plans to operate daily flights, increasing to two daily flights starting July 1. These flights will be operated using Boeing 737 aircraft, catering to both leisure and business travelers.

In a related development, Air France will resume its flights to Dubai starting June 1, 2026, with daily flight AF662/AF661. Flight AF662 departs from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 13:40 and arrives in Dubai at 22:35, while the return flight AF661 departs Dubai at 00:40 and reaches Paris at 06:00. This route will be operated daily using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, aimed at meeting the needs of both tourists and business travelers.

On another note, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced the resumption of its flights to Dubai starting June 29, 2026. It will operate four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight KL427 departs from Amsterdam at 14:05 and arrives in Dubai at 23:00, while the return flight KL426 leaves Dubai at 01:00 and arrives in Amsterdam at 06:30, utilizing Boeing 777 aircraft.

The return of these global carriers to Dubai follows the reopening of airspace and the resumption of air travel and tourism, reflecting a response to increasing market demands. With the summer season and holidays approaching, demand for travel is expected to rise, supporting the continuity of this trend in the recovery of air traffic.
