Arabia Air Announces 30% Cash Dividend for 2025

The annual general assembly of Air Arabia has officially approved the distribution of a 30% cash dividend for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. This decision underscores the airline’s robust financial performance and sustainable growth within the highly competitive aviation sector. In this article, we will explore the significance of this announcement and its implications for stakeholders.

Results and Dividend Approval

During its annual general meeting, shareholders of Air Arabia (PJSC) agreed to distribute profits amounting to 30 fils per share, reflecting the airline’s impressive financial results for the fiscal year concluded on December 31, 2025. The decision follows a successful financial period in which Air Arabia reported a record net profit before tax of 1.8 billion dirhams, marking a substantial increase of 14% compared to 2024.

In addition to the approval of the dividend, the assembly elected members to the board of directors for the next three years and endorsed the auditors’ report along with the balance sheet for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. Shareholders also granted a discharge of liability to board members and auditors for the same period and appointed auditors for the new fiscal year, confirming their fee arrangements.

Chairman’s Insights

Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of Air Arabia, noted, “The performance of Air Arabia during 2025 is the strongest in the group’s history, affirming the effectiveness of our business model and the efficiency of our management team.” He emphasized the airline’s commitment to expanding its network by launching new destinations in key markets and increasing operational capacity to meet escalating demand for low-cost air travel.

Expansion and Growth

Throughout the year, Air Arabia introduced 30 new destinations from its six operational hubs across the UAE, Morocco, Egypt, and Pakistan. The airline added five new aircraft to its fleet and incorporated nine more to support its expansion plans and enhance its route network. By the end of 2025, Air Arabia’s fleet comprised 90 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, operating across 220 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Future Outlook

Concluding his remarks, Al Thani stated, “Despite the ongoing geopolitical developments and their potential impacts on the global economy and the aviation sector in our region, we remain confident in the resilience of the aviation industry worldwide. Our strong business model, coupled with the expertise of our management team, affords us the capability to navigate current challenges while continuing to deliver sustainable value to our customers and shareholders.”
