Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Directs the Launch of an Airbridge to Aid Gaza During Ramadan
In a significant humanitarian move coinciding with the month of Ramadan, His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has issued directives to launch an airbridge dedicated to assisting the Gaza Strip. This initiative, part of “Operation Noble Knight 3,” aims to support the Palestinian people and alleviate their suffering in extremely difficult conditions, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to helping those in need during this blessed month.
The Humanitarian Airbridge: What Does It Include?
The humanitarian airbridge will be designated for transporting a variety of relief supplies, including food parcels, health materials, and essentials for children and women. Urgent basic needs will also be provided, contributing to meeting the requirements of affected families during the holy month. This step supports efforts to ensure a dignified life and alleviate the pressures on families in Gaza.
Collaboration Among Charitable Organizations
The airbridge is being implemented in collaboration with several charitable organizations in the Emirate of Ajman, including the Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, the Global Humanitarian Foundation, the Emirates Red Crescent, the Ihsan Charity Association, and the Union Charity Foundation. These organizations will prepare the aid and coordinate shipping and delivery operations, ensuring the timely arrival of relief materials to those in need before the end of the holy month.
