In an exciting announcement, Sharjah Ladies Club has unveiled plans for the 11th edition of the Ladies’ Run 2026, set to take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Al Suyuh Ladies Park. Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, the event aims to combine sports and entertainment for a future-oriented experience.
Innovative Initiatives for Sustainability
This year’s event will introduce a sustainability initiative, reflecting the club’s commitment to aligning with the UAE’s vision for a more environmentally conscious future. Participants can expect practical measures to minimize environmental impact, such as using race bags made entirely from recycled materials and medals crafted from reclaimed bamboo. Additionally, recycling bins for water bottles will be set up in collaboration with Be’ah, encouraging all participants to adopt eco-friendly practices that foster community awareness.
A Futuristic and Interactive Experience
The Ladies’ Run 2026 will feature an interactive atmosphere inspired by future themes, marking an evolution in the annual running event. This year, the experience will embody progress, ambition, and the empowerment of women, all while prioritizing environmental consciousness. Registration is still open for the Ladies’ Run 2026, inviting girls and women aged 12 and above to enroll via the Sharjah Ladies Club mobile app. To help participants prepare for the race, the club will share workout tips and educational content through its social media accounts.
