Doha and Al Rayyan Propel $211 Million Real Estate Surge

The Qatar real estate market is experiencing significant activity, with total deals amounting to approximately QR767.146 million ($210.8 million) during the week of November 16–20, 2025. This robust trading surge is primarily driven by the vibrant sectors of land sales, residential properties, and mixed-use assets, particularly in key areas like Doha and Al Rayyan.

The most recent Real Estate Bulletin, published by the Department of Real Estate Registration at the Ministry of Justice, outlines these impressive figures.

During the reported week, registered sales contracts reached QR714,376,122 ($196.3 million), with residential unit transactions totaling QR52,770,085 ($14.5 million). This week’s remarkable real estate trading value underscores the ongoing momentum within Qatar’s property market.

According to the bulletin, the properties traded encompassed a diverse range, including vacant land plots, houses, residential buildings, complex developments, an office building, and even an apartment-hotel. This spectrum also extended to administrative buildings, commercial properties, and mixed-use commercial-residential ventures.

The transactions were notably concentrated in the municipalities of:

  • Al Rayyan
  • Doha
  • Al Wakrah
  • Umm Salal
  • Al Daayen
  • Al Shamal
  • Al Khor
  • Al Dakhira

Further activity was reported in Al Wukair, The Pearl, Lusail, Al Khuraij, Dafna, Al Sakhama, and Al Mashaf, showcasing substantial demand across both established and emerging neighborhoods.

In comparison, the previous week from November 9–13 saw the Ministry of Justice recording more than QR506 million ($139.1 million) in sales contracts, illustrating how this week’s real estate trading was significantly higher.

The consistency in trading volumes reflects not just ongoing buyer enthusiasm but also steady investor engagement in the ever-evolving landscape of Qatar’s property market. With key areas like Doha and Al Rayyan leading the way, the outlook remains positive for future real estate transactions. This momentum paints a promising picture for both residents and investors alike as Qatar continues to grow as a real estate hub.
