Abu Dhabi Real Estate Market Soars to $25.6 Billion

The Abu Dhabi real estate market is experiencing remarkable growth, surging 43.3 percent to reach AED 94 billion ($25.6 billion) in the first nine months of 2025. This surge reflects rising confidence in the sector, with a record 29,400 transactions reported. According to the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), such rapid growth highlights Abu Dhabi’s standing as one of the most reliable property markets in the region.

ADREC attributes the 48 percent increase in transaction volume to the ongoing digital transformation and regulatory advancements in the sector, designed to enhance efficiency and bolster investor trust. This effort has solidified Abu Dhabi’s reputation for transparency and reliability in real estate.

Out of the total AED 94 billion ($25.6 billion) generated, AED 61.8 billion ($16.8 billion) stemmed from 16,887 sales and purchases, showcasing robust market activity.

Additionally, mortgage activities contributed an impressive AED 32.2 billion ($8.7 billion) from 12,666 transactions. This indicates balanced demand from both end-users and investors, coupled with a stronger financing appetite from financial institutions. Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC, remarked, “These results affirm the strength of Abu Dhabi’s real estate market fundamentals and the maturity of its investors.”

Al Omaira further noted the sector’s remarkable growth, stating, “With greater transparency, reliable data, and effective regulation, the sector continues to create real economic value reflected in a 9 percent increase in its Non-Oil GDP contribution to AED 21.9 billion in H1 2025 compared with AED 20.2 billion ($5.5 billion) a year earlier. The alignment between policy, performance, and productivity is what continues to define Abu Dhabi’s real estate success story.”

The construction sector has also witnessed significant expansion, reporting a 10 percent increase in its value contributions, which rose to AED 57.5 billion ($15.7 billion) from AED 52.3 billion ($14.2 billion) over the same period last year.
