One of Dubai’s Most Magical Dining Experiences: Balloons at the Palace is Back

The popular dining experience, Dine with a View: Balloons at the Palace, returns to Jumeirah Al Qasr on October 17, celebrating its one-year anniversary with the introduction of a captivating new theme, Tales of the Arabian Skies.

Set against a breathtaking backdrop of the Arabian Gulf, Burj Al Arab, and Dubai’s iconic skyline, diners are invited to enjoy their meals inside four exquisite hot air balloon-style pods. Each pod creates an atmosphere reminiscent of a floating majlis, intimate and infused with the allure of the golden age of Arabian travel along the Spice Route. Though the balloons remain tethered, the sweeping views give the sensation of dining high above the clouds. Each balloon accommodates two to six guests comfortably.

Breakfast in the Clouds

Kick off your weekend with breakfast in the clouds, available every Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 11 AM. The menu includes light and fresh offerings such as cheese and zaatar manakish, as well as classic shakshuka, complemented by morning sunshine and picturesque sea views.

Prices begin at Dhs195 per person.

Afternoon Tea in the Sky

The award-winning afternoon tea experience also returns, available daily in two sittings — 1 PM to 3 PM and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

This season’s theme, A Tale of Two Traditions, elegantly marries British afternoon tea staples like smoked salmon sandwiches and scones with local flavors represented by Vanilla Mousse with Pistachio and Kunafa.

Prices start from Dhs295 per person, with bubbly options available for guests aged eight and older.

The Spice Route Dinner Journey

As evening descends, the terrace transforms into an enchanting space for The Spice Route Journey, a six-course dinner served at 6:30 PM and 9 PM.

Diners can look forward to exquisite dishes, including yellowfin tuna with harissa emulsion, roasted prawns, and a choice between beef tenderloin with date molasses jus or Mediterranean sea bass with saffron emulsion.

Dinner experiences start at Dhs395 per person, with grape pairing packages available for guests aged 16 and over.
