10 Thrilling Auctions Ignite Competition at Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian Expo

The final weekend of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2026 is set to dazzle attendees with an extensive programme of auctions featuring exceptional horses and falcons. The exhibition, now in its 23rd edition, is proudly organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates Falconers Club. This year’s event is establishing a new benchmark for auctions, showcasing ten auctions over the ten days of the exhibition, all under the banner “Our Heritage is Our Pride and Glory.” This ambitious approach marks the largest auction programme in the history of the exhibition.

A Unique Showcase of Heritage and Tradition

The programme includes eight live falcon auctions, with an exclusive online auction for elite falcons. Notably, this year features a live auction for horses for the first time, making it a distinctive gathering of traditional sports and heritage auctions under one roof.

Exceptional Horses on Display

The horse auction is taking place in the Live Show Area, where bidders will have the opportunity to bid on a selection of the finest purebred Arabian horses. Renowned for their beauty and outstanding performance capabilities, these horses will be accompanied by a curated selection of Friesians, Andalusians, show-jumping horses, and ponies.

More than 40 horses from various distinguished breeds and bloodlines worldwide will be showcased during the horse auction, offering bidders a chance to acquire some of the most sought-after equine specimens in the region.

High Stakes in Falcon Auctions

Today marks the penultimate live falcon auction, the seventh in a series of eight during the exhibition. Esteemed falcon breeding farms from the UAE and beyond are presenting an impressive selection of their finest falcons for auction. Tomorrow, the exhibition will conclude with the final live falcon auction, anticipated to culminate in a fitting finale for this record-breaking edition.

Global Participation through Digital Platforms

Simultaneously, the online falcon auction will continue throughout the final weekend, allowing international bidders to participate remotely via one of the most reliable digital platforms for falcon sales in the region. This enables the auctions to reach beyond the halls of ADNEC, broadening the scope for interested bidders worldwide.

This year’s auctions have attracted the participation of 55 leading breeding farms, both locally and internationally, specialising in the breeding and care of falcons, marking a significant 20% increase compared to last year. Notably, nine farms are participating for the first time.

As this exciting event unfolds, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition continues to celebrate the rich heritage of falconry and equestrian arts, drawing enthusiasts and collectors from around the globe.
