The Dubai Crown Prince Camel Festival concluded this year with four main races for young camels, characterized by strong competition for cups and guns, supervised by Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Camel Racing Club. The events included 36 races with the participation of 1,070 camels competing over two sessions, morning and evening, at a distance of 6 kilometers.

The second race was won by Mu’tad, owned by Rashid Mohsen Ali Tithab Al Andilah, who claimed the open male camels’ gun with a prize of one million dirhams, recording a time of 8:54:4 minutes. The production category was also prominently represented, with Malain, owned by Abdulaziz Saif Ali Suwailem Al Ketbi, excelling in winning the Dubai Crown Prince Cup for production young camels.

The thirteenth Marmoom auction, in particular, witnessed significant interest, with bidder Mohammed Ahmed Saif Al Ghaith Al Marri purchasing a selection of distinguished camels. These transactions reflect the growing confidence of owners in the breeds on offer, boosting the market and highlighting the positive atmosphere surrounding Suba.
