A Unique Design Concept

The design of the UAE pavilion, overseen by Her Highness Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for National Projects, embodies the concept of advancement as an ongoing human journey. It connects cultural heritage and knowledge with scientific exploration and future ambitions. Under the theme “From the Earth to the Ether,” the design draws inspiration from the date palm, symbolising historical and cultural significance, while presenting an innovative interpretation of traditional “Arish” homes made from palm fronds. This creative approach reflects the UAE’s deep connection to its rich culture and its ambitious vision for the future, rooted in traditional Emirati architecture.
