UAE Airlines Cancel All Flights to Israel Until November 30

According to reports from Hebrew media, the Emirati airline FlyDubai has cancelled all its flights to Israel until 30 November. This decision follows new regulations announced by Israel’s tax authority aimed at enhancing the security measures for incoming and outgoing flights.

New Regulations for Airlines

On Thursday, Israeli officials introduced updated guidelines for airlines operating flights to Israel. These regulations require airlines to provide the personal information of crew members at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure. This initiative was triggered in response to an incident involving a FlyDubai flight.

Enhanced Security Measures

The newly implemented procedures are designed to bolster civil aviation security. By allowing authorities more time to review crew data, the aim is to ensure a more thorough readiness to manage potential security threats. This move reflects Israel’s commitment to reinforcing its security protocols and updating the reporting requirements for crew members travelling to and from the country.
