Today marks the launch of the exciting initiative “صيف قرى الإمارات,” a comprehensive summer program designed to engage children and youth across five regions of the UAE. Organized by the UAE Council for Balanced Development, this program aims to maximize leisure time through a rich array of educational, athletic, cultural, and recreational activities. Running until July 23, the program invites participants aged 10 to 17 to enhance their skills and improve their quality of life in a nurturing environment.
Engaging Activities Across the UAE
The summer program “صيف قرى الإمارات” offers a unique educational experience focused on various themes such as sports, heritage, national identity, future skills, artificial intelligence, and safety. Targeting the development of personal and cognitive skills, it fosters cooperation and community participation among the young attendees.
Diverse Locations for Maximum Reach
Activities for “صيف قرى الإمارات” are being hosted in five key locations: Qidfa in Fujairah, Masfout in Ajman, Rams in Ras Al Khaimah, as well as Al Shuwaib and Al Sila in Abu Dhabi. This selection reflects the council’s commitment to inclusivity, ensuring access to various villages and regions within the UAE, allowing children and teens from different backgrounds to partake in the program.
A Variety of Learning Experiences
Over the course of three weeks, “صيف قرى الإمارات” will encompass a wide range of activities, including sports events, interactive educational workshops, awareness sessions, and practical experiences. The curriculum emphasizes future skills, innovation, technology, health and safety, environmental awareness, and activities that promote national identity, UAE values, teamwork, creativity, and life skills.
