Sharjah Sports Council Launches Innovative Talent Database
The Sharjah Sports Council has unveiled its new digital platform, “Kafa’at,” aimed at creating a comprehensive central database of sports and administrative talents. This initiative is designed to significantly enhance the development of the sports sector within the Emirate of Sharjah.
Strategic Resource for Talent Management
The “Kafa’at” platform will serve as a strategic resource for the council when forming or reshaping club boards, establishing advisory and specialised committees, and nominating representatives for sports federations. It also provides access to specialised expertise for future projects and initiatives.
How to Register
Individuals interested in joining the platform can register directly via the dedicated website (https://kafaat.shjsc.ae/). The registration process requires the submission of personal details, qualifications, certifications, previous roles, and targeted positions, alongside the commitment to work either full-time or part-time. Relevant supporting documents must also be provided.
Dual Pathways for Participation
Participation in the platform can occur through two pathways: self-registration, which involves creating a profile showcasing your experience and qualifications, or nominating a qualified individual. For the latter, initial nomination is simply based on the name of the nominee, contact details, rationale for the nomination, and suggested areas of expertise. Following this, the platform team will reach out to complete the nominee’s information.
Diverse Areas of Experience
Nominations for positions will be considered based on expertise across various domains, including executive management, strategic governance, investment, marketing, media, legal affairs, financial management, auditing, human resources, event management, facilities management, and talent management. This comprehensive approach also extends to proposed positions within the boards and executive roles at clubs in Sharjah.
