Sharjah is preparing to move a major digital services initiative into its first operational phase, as officials reviewed the readiness of a platform designed to streamline contractor and consultant classification services. The meeting focused on technical progress, government integration, and the launch plans for Manasat Nabni, which is expected to simplify procedures and enhance the overall experience for users across the emirate.
Meeting Reviews Operational Readiness
In the presence of His Excellency Sultan bin Hwaidan Al Ketbi, Head of the Department of Municipal Affairs, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Digital Department, and Sheikh Engineer Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Department of Municipal Affairs, the steering committee for the “Nabni” platform, chaired by Her Excellency Engineer Lamya Obaid Al-Hossan Al-Shamsi, Director of Sharjah Digital Department, held a meeting to follow up on the platform’s developments and review the readiness for the first phase of launch, alongside several representatives from government entities.
The meeting aimed to monitor the progress of work on Manasat Nabni and ensure the completion of the necessary requirements for transitioning from the testing phase to actual operation, ensuring an organized launch aligned with the emirate’s digital transformation goals.
First Phase Focuses on Classification Services
The meeting discussed the operational prototype of the first phase, specifically concerning the package of services for classifying contractors and consultants. This follows the platform reaching an advanced stage in the final testing environment within the Sharjah Digital platform, paving the way for its approval and transition to the actual operating environment.
This step is one of the key milestones for Manasat Nabni, aiming to provide a smoother and faster process for completing classification-related transactions while reducing reliance on traditional procedures and significantly enhancing the user experience.
