In a vibrant celebration of academic achievement, the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and Sunnah recognized 30 outstanding students from its summer program, “صيفنا أحلى.” This initiative not only fosters a deep connection with the Quran but also enriches the intellectual journey of young minds. Held for the ninth consecutive year, the program engaged participants from June 29 to mid-August 2023, encouraging a love for Quranic studies and promoting vital educational values.
Celebrating Excellence in Quranic Studies
The closing ceremony of “صيفنا أحلى” showcased the hard work and dedication of the students who participated in the summer program. Led by Mr. Saleh Obaid Al-Balayth Al-Tuniji, a member of the foundation’s board, the event honored students who excelled in various courses throughout the summer of the year 1447 AH (2025 CE). This celebration is a testament to their commitment and diligence, culminating in the recognition of their remarkable achievements.
Diverse Programs to Engage the Community
This year’s summer program was characterized by its diversity and richness, offering a wide range of courses across various mosques and centers. Designed to cultivate a profound love for the Quran and its teachings, these programs catered to different segments of the community. Notably, the “Illuminate Your Summer with the Quran” course was open to the general public, encouraging non-registered participants to engage with Quranic studies. Additionally, a specialized intensive summer course was exclusively available to the foundation’s students, focused on enhancing their memorization and review skills.
Focus on Islamic Sciences
The program also featured the fourth iteration of the “Memorization of Texts” course, which included the study of the Al-Jazariyyah text and the “Tanbeeh al-Anam” book. This emphasis on foundational Islamic sciences reflects the foundation’s commitment to nurturing students’ intellectual growth and providing them with a comprehensive understanding of religious knowledge. By integrating traditional studies with contemporary educational methods, the foundation ensures that students are well-prepared for their spiritual and academic journeys.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Saleh Obaid Al-Balayth Al-Tuniji reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to continuing the vision set by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He emphasized the importance of investing in the youth and instilling Quranic values within them.
