In a significant move for the Dubai real estate sector, Wasl has announced an ambitious expansion of Jumeirah Golf Estates, promising to deliver 12,000 new homes within a well-planned community. This extensive development, known as “The Next Chapter,” is set to reshape residential living in the region, combining luxury with sustainable urban planning to create a vibrant lifestyle hub. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s long-term vision outlined in the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, enhancing the appeal of Dubai real estate for potential homeowners and investors alike.
Dubai developer Wasl has unveiled a comprehensive master plan for Jumeirah Golf Estates that will introduce over 12,000 new residential units across six planned lifestyle districts.
Covering an impressive 4.68 million square meters, the project will comprise 780 villas, 752 estate homes, 97 branded residences, 62 ultra-luxury hilltop mansions, and 10,654 apartments.
Upon completion, the expansion is anticipated to accommodate over 51,700 residents.
The project seeks to integrate with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan by incorporating extensive green spaces, educational and healthcare facilities, and enhanced transportation links, including direct access to the upcoming Etihad Rail main station and the existing Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station.
Sitting conveniently along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the development also benefits from close access to Al Khail Road, Al Yalayis Street, and Al Jamayel Street, positioning it near Al Maktoum International Airport and bolstering both regional and international connectivity.
Expanding Luxury Golf Living
The infrastructure within the community promises to be robust, featuring a 46,000 square meter international school, nurseries, mosques, healthcare centers, and 48,000 square meters dedicated to retail and dining options.
Additionally, the sporting facilities at Jumeirah Golf Estates will undergo substantial upgrades, including the introduction of a new 18-hole golf course, an expanded golf academy, and a large tennis stadium with a seating capacity of over 5,000. Plans also include a dedicated equestrian center for show jumping along with a multi-sport complex.
A central lake and a sprawling 131,850 square meter Central Park will also be part of the space, along with over 1.5 million square meters of green open areas. Furthermore, a new Mandarin Oriental hotel will be integrated within the complex.
Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim, Group CEO of Wasl, stated, “The unveiling of Jumeirah Golf Estates – The Next Chapter represents a pivotal milestone for Wasl and a defining moment for urban development in Dubai. This is a long-term commitment to integrated, sustainable communities designed to meet future needs.”
The master plan was showcased at a well-attended event at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, bringing together government officials, investors, and key industry stakeholders.
This expansive development aligns perfectly with the rising demand for premium real estate in Dubai, particularly among buyers seeking branded residences that offer close proximity to both sports and leisure amenities.
