In a significant move for the Dubai real estate market, Imtiaz Developments has officially launched The Symphony, a remarkable AED1 billion ($272 million) mixed-use project designed in partnership with the world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA). This ambitious venture highlights the growing demand for innovative and luxurious living spaces in Dubai, setting a new benchmark in design and architecture.
Situated within the AED3 billion ($816 million) Meydan portfolio, The Symphony represents Imtiaz’s most extensive project to date and promises to redefine architectural standards in one of Dubai’s most sought-after districts. Spanning 4,234 square meters, this development seamlessly integrates ultra-luxury residences, commercial retail units, and office spaces, showcasing a design that harmonizes cultural heritage with ZHA’s signature futuristic style.
The Symphony by Imtiaz: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
The Symphony draws inspiration from traditional UAE crafts such as Sadu weaving and Talli embroidery, transforming their intricate geometric patterns into elegant, contemporary designs. This creative approach results in a sculptural edifice that not only looks ahead but also celebrates the region’s artistic legacy.
According to Imtiaz Developments, residences within The Symphony start at AED2 million ($544,000) and extend to penthouses priced up to AED20 million ($5.4 million), placing this project at the pinnacle of Meydan’s luxury offering. The diverse range of units is designed to attract both local and international buyers, reflecting the high demand for upscale living in the city.
Masih Imtiaz, CEO of Imtiaz Developments, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating, “The launch of The Symphony marks far more than the unveiling of a new development — it marks the beginning of a legacy. Collaborating with Zaha Hadid Architects has allowed us to push the boundaries of what luxury living can be in Dubai.” He went on to declare, “The Symphony sets a new benchmark for design-led living — a pivotal statement for Meydan and for our next chapter as a developer.”
Reflecting Dubai’s Innovative Spirit
Gianluca Racana, Director at Zaha Hadid Architects, acknowledged the project’s alignment with Dubai’s innovation-centric ethos. “Dubai thrives on innovation, and The Symphony reflects that spirit by combining advanced design with cultural depth,” he noted. “It creates a contemporary living environment that resonates with the future of urban life.” This dual focus on cutting-edge design and cultural relevance positions The Symphony as a forward-thinking residential space.
The unveiling of The Symphony was marked by a major launch event at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena, where industry leaders, partners, and investors gathered, alongside Imtiaz’s brand ambassador, global superstar Hrithik Roshan. The collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects had previously been formalized at a signing ceremony held at ZHA’s headquarters in London.
With the design now disclosed, construction for The Symphony is slated to commence in Q1 2026, with a target completion date set for Q2 2029. Imtiaz anticipates robust interest from high-net-worth individuals and design-oriented investors eager to secure a distinctive residential address in Dubai’s buoyant real estate market.
