This partnership aims to establish the “Emirati-Angolan Business Council,” a groundbreaking initiative designed to strengthen economic ties and expand shared investment opportunities. This agreement was formalized during an official visit by an Emirati economic delegation to the Angolan capital, Luanda, where the memorandum of understanding was signed by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Vice President of the UAE Federation of Chambers and Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, alongside Vicente Soares, President of the Angola Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The council is intended to systematically initiate a series of trade and promotional activities across targeted economic sectors within the framework of cooperative agendas. It will also serve as an effective platform for business owners and investors to showcase their activities, establish sustainable business and investment partnerships, and open new avenues for collaboration.
Strategic Partnerships for Growth
The Angolan side acknowledged the importance of creating the joint business council, viewing it as a crucial step in translating mutual interest into tangible projects. The Angolan business community expressed readiness to forge strategic partnerships through the council, deepening economic dialogue and facilitating interactions among various business sectors. They also emphasized the need to exchange information regarding promising opportunities and markets within both countries.
The memorandum of understanding explicitly outlines that the council will facilitate continuous interaction between the business communities in the two nations, sharing insights about trade and investment opportunities along with the regulations that govern them. Additionally, it will organize exhibitions, conferences, and mutual visits for trade delegations, all aimed at serving the shared economic interests.
