The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has launched the project “UAE.. People and Impact,” which aims to publish a series of quality books documenting the lives of influential Emirati figures. This initiative is part of Dubai’s efforts to promote reading and appreciation of cultural heritage, representing an effective means to convey the success stories of individuals to future generations in a precise and innovative manner.
10 Books Highlighting the Achievements of Icons
In its first phase, the project will produce 10 quality books spotlighting the achievements of pioneers in literature, culture, society, and the economy. It is being implemented in collaboration with “Ghaf” Publishing House, where these books will document the life journeys of figures who have left a significant mark on society. Among these figures are Sheikh Ahmed bin Dalmouj, known for his contributions to education, and poet Ahmed bin Sultan bin Suleim, who enriched the literary scene with his creativity, along with many other prominent icons.
Voices Telling Stories of Identity and Culture
The project will also include a group of individuals who have had a profound impact on cultural development, such as writer Sultan bin Ali Al Owais, historian Hamid bin Sultan, and Aoucha bint Khalifa. Each of them represents a different chapter in the history of the UAE and contributes to shaping the cultural identity of the nation’s youth. “UAE.. People and Impact” serves as a living archive documenting the efforts of these individuals, providing rich material for new generations to benefit from.
