Details of the City Tower 1 Project
Tabreed has announced the addition of ‘City Tower 1’ to its sustainable cooling network in Dubai. The new tower provides 5,300 tons of cooling from the ‘DB-01’ station located in Al Satwa, which has the capacity to deliver 22,400 tons of cooling. Construction has been completed, and the project, consisting of 93 floors, stands at a height of 362.8 meters, featuring 695 residential units, four floors of office space, retail areas, and other facilities.

Company Expansion Plans
This initiative comes at a time when Tabreed is experiencing notable growth. The first half of 2025 saw the company sealing its largest historical deals since its establishment 27 years ago. In June 2025, the company announced its acquisition of Bal Cooling Holding in partnership with CVC CDI, increasing its operational capacity by over 182,000 tons of cooling in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, in May 2025, the company signed an exclusive franchise agreement to enhance sustainable district cooling services in the Palm Jebel Ali project, with an operational capacity of 250,000 tons of cooling.
