Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, recently visited the 13th edition of the “Salt and Fishing Festival” held in Al Hosn Island, Dibba Al Hisn. The event, organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry alongside the Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, showcased the region’s rich maritime heritage and the economic contributions of local fishing communities.

A Close-up of Local Traditions

Accompanied by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and several dignitaries, including Mohamed Saeed Al Naimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, and Ahmad bin Yaroof Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipality Council of Dibba Al Hisn, Dr. Al Zeyoudi toured the festival’s various pavilions.
