The cooperation memorandum between the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the American Chamber of Commerce represents an important step towards deepening economic and investment relations between the UAE and the United States. This document aims to enhance available opportunities and exchange expertise in business, contributing to opening new horizons for both parties in the world of global trade.
Collaboration to Enhance Investments
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed a cooperation memorandum with the American Chamber of Commerce, aimed at supporting investment opportunities, sharing knowledge, and strengthening communication channels between the business communities of both countries. This memorandum comes within the framework of the strong economic ties that link the United Arab Emirates with the United States, which is one of the UAE’s key trading partners on the international stage.
Strong Trade Statistics
Looking at the figures, we find that non-oil trade between the UAE and the United States has witnessed continuous growth, with the volume of non-oil bilateral trade in goods reaching 111 billion dirhams (equivalent to 30.2 billion dollars) during the first nine months of 2025. This figure represents a 10.2% increase compared to the same period last year, reflecting the dynamism of trade between the two countries.
Supporting the Private Sector and Expanding Cooperation
The initiative aims to provide an institutional platform that supports the growth of joint investments and enhances cooperation between the private sectors of Abu Dhabi and the United States. Areas of collaboration include trade, investment, knowledge transfer, organizing events, and exchanging trade delegations, which enhance business experiences and contribute to the growth of sustainable economic partnerships.
