Upon entering MEI through its stunning pivot doors, you are immediately enveloped by an ambiance that feels both exquisite and welcoming. Abstract murals, intricate woodwork, and soft lighting create a sophisticated yet comfortable environment. The venue features a sizable terrace with views of the iconic Burj Al Arab, offering 120 outdoor seats, while the indoor dining area is equally spacious, complemented by a bar that accommodates 14, making it a prime spot to observe the evening’s transformation.
The menu
The culinary offerings at MEI are designed to blend comfort and innovation. Diners can look forward to Robata-grilled meats and wok-fired classics, alongside delectable dim sum and house specialties like claypot dishes and succulent whole duck. On the Japanese front, fresh sashimi and assorted maki, sourced directly from Toyosu Fish Market, promise to tantalize taste buds, complemented by seasonal dishes that change regularly.
Evenings that evolve

The lounge area closes off, the intensity of the lighting shifts, and a vibrant energy takes over. Featuring live singers and DJs, the late-night bar remains open until 2 AM, offering guests an enticing atmosphere that encourages you to arrive for dinner and linger long into the night.
